No!
Genital warts are caused by HPV (Human Papillomavirus). There are a few ways to get rid of them. You can have them lasered off, frozen off, or use topical medication (creams). As for home remedies, nothing really works. The more you wait, the more they spread and can become VERY painful (I had to call off work, they were so painful).
Aldara cream is very useful, but very powerful. You are only suppose to use it 3 days a week because you can get 2nd and 3rd degree burns from it. Unfortunately the only way to get Aldara is by going to the doctor and getting a prescription. You do not need to go to a dermatologist. Your regular family doctor can help. Hope this helps. Good luck!

NO! You can cause a lot worse problems by using that, and it will hurt A LOT.
HPV, the virus that causes genital warts, is likely to clear from the body 90% of the time, so its no longer considered a lifetime infection.

Nope, you need to go to the doctor over this. Be honest with them and if your are having sex you need to tell your partner and protect both of you. You don't want to spread it if it spreadable. Do you know when and where you got it?

Genital Warts are bad news. Do not attempt to treat yourself. Go to a qualified doctor and have them removed. Please be aware that this is a life time condition. They will reoccur from time to time and you can, at any time pass the disease on to another person. Even condoms will not provide protection from spreading Genital Warts.

Of course you can. But you need the self-drying type of salicylic acid . You wouldn't be able to keep the "wet" or paste types on the wart and you might burn bits you would rather keep.

I have a bottle here and it CLEARLY states the you should NOT use it on genital warts!!! So use at your own risk!!! Go to CVS and read the package!!!!!!!! Or you may have more problems than genital warts!!!!!!!!

No please don't do that you could cause a lot more unnecessary pain and damage to your genitalia. Go see your doctor or go to your health clinic they can freeze them off with a more safer tool.
